Dr Robyn Grobler grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She attended medical school at the university of Cape Town and graduated in 2007. She worked in primary care since graduating, and moved to Canada as a family physician in 2006. She has been passionate about mental health since her medical school days, running a small depression clinic from Gugulethu community clinic in Cape Town. She now works full time as a GP psychotherapist and the clinical director of Whittaker Wellness. She specialises in trauma therapy, incorporating EMDR as part of her practice.
In her spare time she loves to read, go for walks with her partner and 3 dogs, dance, do pilates and shop for shoes.
