HOW DO I BECOME A PATIENT WITH WHITTAKER WELLNESS?

1. Ensure your Alberta Healthcare number is valid

2. Ask your family doctor or a local primary care provider to fax us a referral letter to 587-387-7232. When we receive this, we will call you to schedule an intake appointment! The referral PDF can be found at the top of this website page.

Please don't submit enquires via the website- the only way to connect with one of our doctors is by getting a referral sent in. 

DO YOU OFFER FREE HEALTH CONSULTATIONS?

Care received from the doctors at Whittaker Wellness is covered by provincial healthcare. There is no direct cost to you, the patient. We do however charge a no show fee of $100 if a patient does not attend their scheduled appointment at all. A late cancel fee of $50 is charged if a patient cancels within 24h of a scheduled appointment. 

WHAT IS YOUR NO SHOW/CANCELLATION POLICY?

Late Cancel If you change or cancel your appointment without 48 hours’ notice, we’ll do our best to fill the slot. If we’re unable to do so, a $50 charge will apply for late cancellations.

No-Show: If you miss your appointment without informing the clinic and the doctor can’t reach you at the scheduled time (we’ll attempt to call your registered number if you’re not on video), a $100 charge will be applied in such cases. Cancellations within 2 hours of your appointment, will also be considered a no-show and incur the $100 fee

These fees will be deducted from the credit card on file- if you don’t have one on file, you can add one yourself, or call us to add it. Further therapy will not be bookable until these fees are paid.
